New Audio Engineering Site Has Launched

I launched a brand new site about audio and stuff which covers recording, mixing, mastering, etc... It's got all sorts of informative articles covering my perspective on things. There's also going to be more recording logs just like the Salome one that I put up there a little while back. Eventually I'm going to migrate all of my content over there. Here's the link to the main site. Audio Engineering Guide . I'm just a guy who has picked up a few things here and there, and if you're a fan of my music then you might find it interesting and informative. Cheers!

Recording Log Entry #1: Salome by The Lunatic

I've posted pictures and logs of a song I produced with The Lunatic which is called Salome. Check it out. Audio Logs. If you're a fan of the Lunatic then it should be pretty interesting. It basically outlines the process of tracking the song which began at one studio (some guys house) where we did the drums (played by Matt Humes). Then we went and moved to Matt Hume's Blue Boot Studio where we recorded the guitars, bass, and acoustic guitar. Finally we did the vocals over at Jack Mergist's home studio. I mixed the track at my studio (where I also added some more guitars and glockenspiel and shakers and tambourines). There's also a great article about albums I love from an engineering (and musical) standpoint. Check out 5 Albums Audio Engineers Should Appreciate. I go through each of them and why I think that's the case.
